Capture of Brielle: The Sea Beggars, Netherlandish Calvinist rebels, capture the port city of Brielle. This leads to a wave of uprisings in Holland and Zealand against SpanishHabsburg rule, leaving most of those provinces (with the exception of Amsterdam), under rebel control.
